Accumedix, Inc., is an ISO13485 certified medical device contract manufacture that assists startup companies in developing and launching new medical devices. I contributed to the product development of the Marodyne LivMD medical device. The LivMD is a low intensity vibration device used for orthopedic physical therapy. My role included component and product testing and analysis to set part specifications. Worked with engineers, quality staff and vendors to specify and source components for the LivMD and other medical devices developed at Accumedix. Assisted in the development of manufacturing procedures for the LivMD device. Performed incoming receiving and inspection of medical device components. Performed assembly and finished good testing of various medical devices (electro-mechanical, surgical, implants, diagnostic and therapeutic devices). Trained in Good Manufacturing Practices and FDA Quality System Regulation 21 CFR part 820.
