Construction Manager on large green field project to be built in the state of Louisiana.

Duties include business development and managing multiple projects from the estimating phase to mechanical completion turnover. This includes constructability, estimating, scheduling, cost, and managing the turnover process. Projects consist of Pipe/Structural fabrication and field installations.

Managed all contractor activities for large scale debottleneck project in the MDI plants at the Geismar site. This project consisted of the installation of pre-turnaround piping, drill shafts, civil, structural, new MCC building, cooling tower, and tank field. The majority of the equipment was installed in three 20 day planned unit outages that were completed on schedule with zero “0” injuries. Responsible and accountable for the following:o Worked in the engineering office as the construction representative during the design phase.o Developed the Project Construction Execution Plan.o Responsible for managing the field change order and RFI process.o Responsible for all contractor safety.o Led all contractor bid processes and participated in the selection of contractors.o Responsible for managing the daily activities for construction management team.o Responsible for preparing and implementing weekly work plans, schedules, leading weekly coordination meetings and schedule reviews.o Responsible for the selection, leadership, daily oversight and coordination of contractors.o Responsible for monitoring contractor performance and making adjustments to manpower loading and equipment utilization to ensure that the work is performed efficiently.o Responsible for making sure the materials and equipment required for the work are available and organized.o Responsible for leading mechanical completion acceptance walks and turnover for commissioning.

Managed all contractor activities for the installation of well site production facilities. These activities included mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical and coordination of commissioning and start-up of facilities. Responsible and accountable for the following:o Worked in the engineering office as the construction representative during the design phase.o Accountable for making sure the work is performed safely and in compliance with all laws, regulations, and specifications.o Responsible for preparing and implementing weekly work plans and schedules for central facilities and pipeline construction.o Responsible for the selection, leadership, daily oversight and coordination of contractors.o Responsible for monitoring contractor performance and making adjustments to manpower loading and equipment utilization to ensure that the work is performed efficiently.o Responsible for approving daily work tickets and approval of invoices.o Responsible for assuring all materials and equipment required for the project were available and organized.o Responsible for managing the field change order and RFI process.

Responsible for overseeing all contractors on the fuel gas replacement project located in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. This project consisted of seven miles of underground piping and ~ 7,500 feet of above ground piping.o Manage and Coordinate all construction activities between construction contractors and Operating facilities.o Manage construction schedule to assure project is completed on time with “0” injuries.o Manage and approve all project RFI’s.

o Managed the design, construction, and safety of various capital projects which included major process changes, new facilities, revamp of existing facilities, and containment for process units and tank farms.o Participated in all front-end loading (FEL) activities.o Developed work scopes, cost control plans, material control plans, construction scopes of work, estimates, project schedules, and led constructability reviews.o Participated in Process Hazard Analyses and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews.o Coordinated shutdown requirements with site maintenance, outside contractors, and plant production.o Worked with operation personnel to develop turnover packages and sequence for mechanical completion. o Implemented projects, while maintaining an excellent safety record “0 injuries”.

o This was a US$160 Million Sulfuric Acid Regeneration Project. This project was a turn-key Greenfield project. o Managed the site construction management team, consisting of individuals with various expertises, including but not limited to safety, project controls, scheduling, procurement, commissioning.o Led the construction management team with the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly milestone and project status reports.o Manage contractors on daily basics, approved and managed change order log.o Developed mechanical completion turnover packages which included mechanical and instrumentation, also, coordinated and managed the mechanical completion acceptance walk-downs, punch list through mechanical completion.

• Managed 85 employees for revamp work associated with installation of tie-ins for new produced water modules. Scope included pipe fabrication and installation of 22% duplex, setting of equipment, VSM’s and modules. Complete project for an on-time facility start-up with no injuries.

• Worked as superintendent for piping and structural fabrication and installation on various projects. Supervised pipe fitters, welders and other crafts for chrome, stainless steel and carbon steel pipe installations. Responsible for equipment installation and start-up for chemical and petroleum plants.
