In this role, I oversee the development and implementation of the Product Security program in the Americas, as well as globally. In leading the Product Security program, security best practices to ensure patient safety and data security are built into all levels of the business and products. This includes developing and overseeing efficient processes within such areas as the Research and Development, Regulatory and Quality, Marketing, and Legal departments. The processes include such items as product security and privacy risk management, vulnerability identification and analysis, security documentation, patch application, customer inquiry response, coordinated vulnerability disclosures, incident response/handling, and user education. Additionally, my role oversees the assessment for program effectiveness both regionally and with global coordination.

Managed the successful implementation of various cybersecurity solutions across complex environments and began to centrally manage the Information Security program across the entire Americas regions. Developed and enhanced policies and procedures to further mature the Information Security posture within the company. Collaborated with the global cybersecurity resources to design effective efforts and measures in reducing the risk surface of the company while providing a positive end user experience. Developed a security awareness program across North and South America which led to positive results in making the end user security responsible. Implemented a metrics and statistical dashboard program to measure cybersecurity effectiveness and determine areas for improvement. Aligned cybersecurity efforts with global initiatives and enhanced senior management visibility through Board level and Committee reporting.

Experienced Information Security professional with excellent analytical and project management skills responsible for the technical security administration for a large company of more than 20,000 users and 15,000 computers. Additional experience with security includes application administration to leading clinical systems, project management for industry leading security initiatives, and analytical consultation for regulatory and legal matters. Normal duties include managing security incident reports, network security audits, application and vendor risk assessments, event structuring and reporting for litigation's, project implementation management, and policy facilitation for end users within the security realm. Processed over 30,000 access requests, 4,000 helpdesk calls, and 1,500 incidents in the previous thirteen years. Administered successful completion of network wide encryption, data loss prevention, audit log correlation, security information event management, and security analytics. Oversees all management items for a core security team of five individuals to ensure continuity of a successful cyber-security program.
