Second in Command for the Western Pacific region’s largest U.S. Navy logistics command/enterprise that networks more than 20 detachments, sites and fuel terminals from Japan, west to Diego Garcia and south to Guam. These detachments and sites provide logistics support to the Navy, Marine Corps, other Department of Defense (DoD) and federal activities within the 7th Fleet Area of Responsibility (AOR)

Responsible for planning and execution oversight of NATO logistic operations/support in the Balkans combat zone during a period of unprecedented NATO activity in the Southern Region.

Served as the lead analyst for the Department of the Navy’s Readiness accounts accounting for over $30 billion dollars across the Future Years Defense Program. Responsibilities included preparing Department of the Navy responses to Office of Secretary of Defense, Operations and Maintenance resource initiatives; articulating and highlighting Navy perspectives on Readiness account fiscal decisions, as well as identifying accounting system shortcomings and system data interpretation.

Responsible for the daily oversight and monitoring of logistic efforts supporting US Navy units operating in Europe and Africa. Additionally, responsible for logistic planning in support of numerous efforts including operations in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and evacuation of US citizens from numerous Western Africa nations and Albania.

Responsible for coordinating and providing logistics support for one of the few United States destroyers permanently forward deployed to Japan.

As Aviation Support officer was responsible for providing material support to three US Navy squadrons forward deployed to Europe. As Authorization Accounting Activity Director, was responsible for serving as the Navy’s financial clearinghouse for over 70 activities with over 130 different operating sites spread across Europe and the Middle East.
