-Responsible for daily science instruction and management of ~100 students (8th grade) using a variety of instructional methods and technologies-Facilitate learning of 10, multi week units across an academic year in a technology driven classroom-Utilize multiple instructional and technological design frameworks to create content instruction-Plan, implement and review the curriculum to align with the Wisconsin Science and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)-Use formative and summative data to drive instruction and promote student achievement and ensure mastery-Differentiate instruction and expectations, based on assessment data, for students needing support -Comfortable and proficient in multiple learning management systems-Generate reports for key stakeholders (students, parents, administration)-Collaborate with team members, other content teachers, support staff and district resource staff to create relevant instruction that promotes student growth in their learning-Experiment with new instructional strategies and technology tools as a way to engage and empower others-Reflect on lessons and strategies through a lens of engagement and effectiveness-Integrate Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) throughout the school and classroom environment-Create and implement detailed plans for ensuring individual learning needs are successfully met.

Provide training on the new Educator Effectiveness program to district teachers and staff, pilot Student Learning Objective (SLO) and use of Teachscape, coordinate with district administrators to implement district training, and continue to provide feedback to district staff on their individual SLOs.

Sophomore biology, elective environmental science, management of students outside of classroom for classwork, responsible for lesson planning and delivery while cooperating teacher was absent for family emergency (2 weeks).
