Prepare and record assignments to perfect chain of title.Review title reports to follow the chain of assignments. Research and verify mortgage documents to complete chain of assignments.Follow up on requests pending research.Effectively communicate the current status of a pending assignment requests.Work with customers and/or third parties to obtain documents required to complete requests.Research MERS MIN issues to complete assignments and/or escalate to management for review. Update the MERS Online System. Scan and index completed assignments and/or back documentation/research.Verify and submit checks for assignments sent directly to the county for recording. Mail assignments requested to the regions daily.Develop and maintain positive, effective working relationships with customers, county offices, title companies, custodians, service vendors and other departments critical to the achieving objectives.  Maintain accurate production tracking records.Reinstate assignments to the custodians.Process all incoming and outgoing mail for the Assignment Team.Perform data entry tasks to enter new orders and provide status for assignments and recording information.
