Responsible for originating, developing, and executing corporate business with core multinational large corporate (MNC) clients incorporated in the UK (FTSE100/250), Israel, South Africa, Switzerland.Responsible for originating, developing, and executing corporate business with UK SME subsidiaries of certain overseas-based (eg, USA, France, Germany, Japan) core clients.Strong focus on improving the customer relationship through direct meetings with the client in order to better understand their needs and requirements, with a view to introducing the the right professional from the appropriate product areas. Origination of new business, with ability to drive growth and deliver new business / mandates through understanding the long-term investment strategy, policies, and operational processes of both the bank and the client in order to identify appropriate multi-product cross-selling opportunities to improve revenue to the bank and reduce operational costs to the client. Comfortable to review for a client the suitability of specific components within a product suite including Debt (syndicated and bilateral loans), Treasury (forex, interest rate) hedging, Commodities ("softs" and metals) hedging, Debt Capital Markets (investment grade and High Yield bonds), Trade Finance, Project Finance, Securitisation, and to market those products appropriate to the client to best meet their needs.Built sound, internal relationships with the various product area teams, as well with senior officers within Credit Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and the Branch Network.

Fulfilled a front office marketing and credit risk management role related to multinational large corporate (MNC) portfolio, which was being developed by the bank as part of a growth initiative which commenced c.2001.

A range of responsibilities including the management of the role of Facility Agent in structured financings where Fortis was mandated to act in this capacity within syndicated facilities. Also, fulfilled a senior credit risk management function, covering a broad ranging portfolio of UK-based large corporate clients, and some small and medium sized corporates (SMEs).

A wide variety and range of roles including, from 1989, front office business development for European large corporates. Prior to 1989, experience comprised risk management with credit risk analysis related to US, UK, and European based multinational large and medium sized corporates. Knowledge gained also from being initially an Inspection Officer, engaged in the Inspection of departments and branches within the Barclays Group.
