In 2010 I was fortunate to have been given an opportunity to come to President Container, and to play a vital role in a "start up" facility. Since arriving, I was part of a group responsible for the training of all of the newly hired employees for our converting department, most with little or no experience in our industry. Roughly 150 employees were needed for the three shift operation in converting. After the first 18 months of very long hours, patience, and persistance, I was given the opportunity to become the production manager of the converting department for President Container. it has been a fulfilling, and so far a very rewarding experience. A great deal of work is still ongoing, as the supervisory staff is very inexperienced, and learning as we go as well.I am (as well as many others) looking forward to being apart of this successful experience for the "long haul".After being in this industry for almost 28 years, it is now that all of the exposure, training, patience, committment, and dedication to a career, has given me an opportunity to be with an organization where i can really make a difference.
