Current role within the HR function of Irish Naval Service. The Defence Forces is currently undergoing a significant change process, arising out of recommendations from the Commission on the Defence Forces. In my current role, I am responsible for Workforce Planning, Resource allocation and preparation of HR Analysis and Data reports in an ever challenging.

Worked as Administration Officer for Irish Naval Service overseeing a team of personnel responsible for the the core HR functions of circa 1000 personnel. Main roles included provision of advice and policy updates for HR matters including employment law, Pay, Trade Union matters, as well as complex legal matters relating to service personnel.

Worked as Manpower Officer (HR Headcount) manager for the Irish Naval Service and circa 1000 personnel. Main roles included workforce planning, data analysis, preparation of HR risk analysis reports for Senior Management, as well as providing timely and appropriate solutions to headcount shortfalls in critical areas to mitigate Operational Risk.
