I have over 20+ years of direct healthcare IT experience including 12 years of direct management experience and 13 years in laboratory. I offer a wealth of IT leadership experience in the lab industry, small and large commercial labs, and describe myself as a hands-on leader. My experience includes infrastructure, connectivity, and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). I have extensive experience in large scale system migrations, conversions and laboratory interface projects. I am currently head of the IT Product Services Team (West Division) at Laboratory Corporation of America (Labcorp). My previous employer, Pathology Associates Medical Laboratory (PAML/PacLab) was recently acquired by Labcorp and I was instrumental in the acquisition and migration of the PAML/PacLab systems, interfaces and clients to Labcorp.At PAML/PacLab, I was the Technical Account Manager for Hospitals and large clinic groups and led the Connectivity Team of network engineers, project managers, integration developers and system analyst to establish laboratory order and results interfaces to the PAML/PacLab esoteric reference labs across the northwest and their nation-wide joint venture lab testing partners.I have experience in migration projects and interfaces with several LIS' and EMR systems. I have worked directly with integration developers building interfaces with integration engine middleware products CorePoint, Cloverleaf, JavaCaps and Rhapsody.
