Maintenance Coordinator

• keep safety as a number one priority on a daily basis all the time looking for ways to improve our safety record and reduce close call incidents • strategize and implement business processes within the maintenance, operations, planning, engineering and supply chain departments• drive ownership and accountability to appropriate levels within all departments• work closely with others in management to reduce costs and improve reliability • report directly to upper management with regards to day to day and monthly issues and concerns that arise• work with outside vendors to organize/accommodate their activities and ensure there proper timing and production• as an appointed SAP super user, train and assist all personal in business processes as required• coordinate maintenance crews as required (turnarounds, etc.)

Working closely with maintenance,operations and technical groups within Suncor to provide on site support for SAP utilization and company business "end to end" processes.

• Coaching team members to take ownership and responsibility within their circles of influence, focusing on the fundamentals – safety – reliability – results driven – continual improvement• Training maintenance, operations, engineering and inspections in SAP functionality • Providing support on system integration to enhance the utilization and performance of the SAP system related to Operations & Maintenance• Facilitating the creation of maintenance strategies and their implantation. • Supporting current users in operating the SAP system related to Operations and Maintenance to achieve maximum benefits realization• Responding and providing Super User support to users and key process owners by analyzing & taking action on their requests for resolution, system training and improvements
