As a solutions engineer, my bread and butter is in story telling. To me, this means encapsulating complex topics and ideas in a way that can be easily digested by personas ranging from Data Engineers and Business Analysts all the way up to the C-suite. This goes hand in hand with my undying curiosity for all things data/AI as well as my passion for ideating innovative solutions to customer problems. As a cloud architect, my philosophy of learning is that everything can (and often should) be composed from its parts to build a complete understanding of the whole. As an embodiment of my own ideology, I got my footing in the software world by first studying computer engineering at the most fundamental levels (ie. VLSI Design.) Understanding how the most atomic components within a computer system form together to construct the higher level functions and shortcuts, that we often take for granted, enables seeing through a lot of the abstraction that convolutes software architecture today. I continually employ this philosophy to maintain an understanding of cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP) with deep focus on the Snowflake Data Cloud and surrounding ecosystem.
