I have been a maintenance, support & development programmer on mid to large systems for over 30 years. I've worked on HP3000, HP9000, OpenVMS, IBMi, UNIX and various Linux O/S's. I've worked in COBOL, Powerhouse, BASIC, FORTRAN, Perl, and C. I've worked with Oracle, Image, DB2, MS-SQL and other databases. I've written scripts in various forms of SQL. I have done web development in HTML, PHP, Perl & MySQL. I've managed people and I've managed projects but I've always been a hands-on participant. I'm always looking for new challenges. The main applications have been Payroll, OE, OM and logistics, data warehousing.Specialties: My particular area of expertise is the stabilization and support of large complicated systems; those with multiple interfaces, platforms or languages. I make sure they run right and stay running and if they don’t, I know about it.
