During my years at Select/Daily I held many positions, dockmen, dispatcher, shift supervisor on varying shifts, culminating as the operations manager for our Brampton depot.In this position I over saw the day to day operations of this terminal and reported directly to the terminal manager. During this tenure some of my accomplishments were; - design and impliment all of the daily p&d runs ( as many as 80 )- implimented many reporting systems pertaining to the dock operation - implimented driver tracking systems pertaining to OTP and Stops/Hr targets and goals- designed and implimented the systems used for all of the 'appointment required ' customers freight storage and movement- achieved and maintained above 95% OTP for appointment customers- helped impliment operations KPI'S- Maintained the OTP ( on time percentage ) at 98% or above with no increase in operating cost.- Designed and implimented a cross dock system to maximize dock usage while keeping dock operating costs down- designed an implimented an operation plan during a merger to allow this terminal to handle a 35% increase in volumes, many of these customers were time specific
