Develop QFSDP BP Plan for EXADATA X2-2 and X5-2 Clusters. Executed Successfully QFSDP 2016 JAN BP 22336096 for two EXADATA Clusters to bring them into compliance of Oracle's Platinum Support Agreement

My role has transitioned from delivering Enterprise Servers, provisioning Enterprise Storage to the business teams and the configuration of their Backup/Recovery/Disaster Recovery Infrastructure Solutions for Systems Engineering team at Land O Lakes, Inc to delivering Oracle Databases across EXADATA / CISCO UCS / Standalone UNIX / Linux Server Platforms as a member of the Oracle Database Administration Team. Upon joining the Oracle Database Administration Team my focus was on the Installation, Upgrade, Migration, Patching and De-installation Process and Procedure tasks as a Oracle DBA for various Standalone and ORACLE RAC Clusters on CISCO UCS Platform, and EXADATA X2-2 & X5-2 Clusters, Co-developed RMAN Backup/Recovery Strategy and Bare Metal Disaster recovery Plans Developed various levels of knowledge and experience across variety of Oracle Database environments (Oracle 7.3, 8i, 9i, 10g, 11g and now 12c ) and Oracle Products including OEM and OEDQ, which I was working with Application Teams during the installation of Oracle binaries and followup creation of new Databases, Patching existing environment to current Patch levels, Migration of databases/schema's form unsupported versions to current supported versions using variety of Oracle Utilities and defined procedures. Tasked with developing Disaster Recovery of our EXADATA & CISCO UCS ORACLE RAC environments to Cold Site to unlike Hardware. Assisted in Development of RMAN Backup Strategy to Data Domain DDR 860 devices which I had setup and configured while in Systems Engineering/ Storage Team. Also Assisted in the deployment and administration of Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c which included new agent deployment/ agent patching and upgrades.

Lead Storage Team in Installation, Configuration and deployment of both EMC and NetApp Enterprise Storage Arrays. Created and Distributed Logical Volumes to both Windows, UNIX and Linux Platforms as FC LUNs, NFS or CIFS shares, and iSCSI LUNs with SNAPshot backup feature.Developed, orchestrated and implemented Two EMC Storage Array Technology Upgrades from DMX2 to DMX3 in 2006/7 and then from DMX3 to VNX7500 Arrays in 2009. Additionally led efforts to the Installation, Configuration, Initial Deployment and Upgrades of EMC VTL 4200 product, CISCO MDS 9313 SAN switches and Data Domain DDR860 devices. Developed and Implement Disaster Recovery Plan to Cold Site in Atlanta with the first implementation of Replicating the In-house DDR860 to the remote site DDR860 device.

Short Term Contract

My employment for Pillsbury North American Operations started in Dec. 27th, 1999 thru it's merger and operation migration with General Mills, ending in Feb 2004. My role envolved HP-UX & Solaris Administration level tasks along with the primary role for Backup/Recovery and Disaster Recover efforts using STK's REELBACKUP for the then Pillsbury NAO/Burger King/United Distillers Business SAP Database and Application Environments. Upon official merger in 2002 this became a shared position with General Mills staff maintaining their HiComp/Hibackup environment for HP-UX SAP environment with my primary focus on maintaining the existing Pillsbury Operations Application environments til they were completely migrated over in late 2003.

Sr. Systems Engineer/ Unix Administration

My career at SuperValu began as a Computer Operator B on various IBM Mainframe Servers, i.e IBM 4341, 3880, 3883,3890 and finally the S-390 SysPlex Mainframe Environment. This led me into the lead Network Analyst position and then additonal role as Network and LAN/WAN Analyst. My last 5 years at SuperValu cast me into the role of Solaris Systems Administration and Backup/Recovery Lead maintaining and architecting it's then STK REELBackup and newly purchase EDM Backup software environments. In all I spent over 15 yrs with SuperValu and various roles within the company which I then broadened my Career path when I left for then company Pillsbury NAO.

Network Connectivity of users to Mainframe S390/AS400 systems as PC's made there way to desktop LAN communications became part of the responsibility as well
