Working as a researcher for the grundforsknings center inSPIN. The mission of inSPIN is to perform structural characterization to generate knowledge that can be used systematically to design ways for biological intervention. inSPIN will generate and exploit results from structural and functional analysis to rationally design synthetic antimicrobial peptides, small molecule inhibitors for fibril formation, new contrast agents for early-stage detection of amyloid diseases, and a molecular basis for understanding extracellular matrix degradation, to name some specific targets.My working areas within inSPIN are recombinant protein production, biophysical characterization of protein lipid interactions and allowing general availability of the atomic force microscopy facility.
