I LOVE SOLVING PROBLEMS! And the field of science is just filled with interesting problems to solve, this is what brought me on to the path of doing research. I had initially gotten my master’s degree as an engineer in biotechnology, but I felt that I needed to answer just a few more scientific questions. Now here we are, 14 years later, as an experienced researcher with my name on more than 30 publications. I have worked as a Postdoc in an internationally recognized research environment within protein biophysics. My responsibilities in the laboratory evolved, from primarily focusing on research, to also include being responsible for teaching, training of new students in the laboratory, purchasing and maintenance of scientific equipment and general lab management. This has given me a lot of experience in communication and also documentation. I have been part of projects with several stakeholders, laying out strategies to innovate and optimize our research goals.I consider myself dedicated, flexible and professional but also friendly, humorous and informal. I have always felt a responsibility for new students and employees to feel welcome in our working group regardless of their nationality, professional background and language skills.
Listed skills include Protein Chemistry, Protein Purification, Molecular Biology, Circular Dichroism, and 21 others.
