CurrentAs the Senior Vice President of Large Commercial, I lead and provide strategic vision for the large commercial business unit to achieve company goals and key business initiatives. I am responsible for advancing and executing the large commercial strategy and objectives, with P&L ownership for the group. I establish and maintain relationships with pivotal business contacts, including large policyholders, insurance brokers/agents, industry colleagues, competitors, charitable organizations, business and labor leaders, and other stakeholders who interact with WCF.I employ a growth mindset, building my team with a shared vision that fully aligns with WCF’s overall strategy while creating a customer-focused culture that embraces innovation and follows The WCF Way. I consult with the COO, CEO and other senior leaders regarding the impact of business strategies and key transactions related to the strategic business unit. My primary deliverable is the profitable growth and expansion of the business unit.Key Responsibilities:Achieving company growth and profit goals.Managing vision and purpose, setting direction aligned with company strategy, and leading the business unit with innovative and creative thinking.Monitoring industry developments, market conditions, state and federal regulations, and products.Creating and maintaining strong, positive working relationships with other departments to achieve company goals.Demonstrating strong communication skills, including the ability to present key information to executives, brokers, and other key decision makers.Regularly meeting with agents and policyholders to build and solidify good relationships and deliver excellent customer service.Overseeing the development of employees and creating job satisfaction, high morale, and technical competency.Strong commitment to teamwork, communication, and understanding that success is not only about numbers and targets; it’s about the human spirit that fuels our progress.
