Subcontractor for NJ and PA from NY based rep group/showroom in high-end tabletop and giftware categories. Leading producer & achieved consistent growth of roughly 15% per year. Specialize in new account openings, averaging 150 new accounts for various manufacturers each year. Have attracted new brands to join group & expand territory. Received expanded territory to include PA. Brands represented include: Mariposa, Match Pewter, Nambe, Gien, Voluspa Candles, Agraria Home Fragrance, Annieglass, Le Jacquard Francais, Lapas Silver, Sabre Flatware, Rogaska Crystal, Halcyon Days Enamels, Lynn Chase, etc.

Established and managed sales force of 6-12 reps in the Northeastern US for high-end French Home Fragrance manufacturer while representing NJ and PA myself. Sales increased significantly for entire territory- NJ alone grew by 325%. The Northeast saw growth every year under my tenure despite the company seeing significant decreases in sales nationally. Responsible for coordinating all aspects of trade shows. Also responsible for product selection, sales forecasts and ordering of merchandise for sister company- Point a la Ligne Candles.

Subcontractor for NJ and Upstate NY for same group as above representing 32 different manufacturers. After 3 months, was offered expanded territory to include upstate NY. In fist six months, opened 109 new accounts for various manufacturers, which represented 30% of total sales in territory. Additional manufacturers included Richard Ginori, Haviland Limoges, Moser Glass.

In addition to managing sales force, was responsible for covering 9 states where we did not have sales representation. In first year company saw 6% sales increase vs. prior years sales decrease of 4%. For year 2000, sales in states I represented accounted for more than 25% of national sales.
