Brian began his asphalt career in 1995 at 15 years old helping his grandfather perform projects in the Willamette Valley. His professional career started in 2004 after graduating from Central Washington University with a BS in Construction Management. In 2008 the formulation of Aegis Asphalt Sealcoating. After founding Aegis in 2009 Brian slowly grew the company while working a full time job up November 2017 when he decided that if he wanted to continue he would have to give his company the same dedication and determination that he had devoted to his previous employers.

As a Project Manger Brian oversaw a number of parking lot construction projects for 4J, Springfield School District, City of Springfield and Willamalane. and various other projects. The most memorable for Brian is the Springfield Mill Race Storm water Facility Project and Mill Race Path Project. Brian worked closely with Owners, Inspectors, Permitting, subcontractors and the craftsmen and women who perform the work. Ask Brian about any project in town over the last 10 years and he could tell you a story.
