My experience as a Business Writer and Marketing Strategist has mostly involved helping design professionals (architects, engineers, product designers) communicate more effectively in support of their business. I have worked as a full-time employee, on contract, and freelance. Although I specialized in the design profession, I have learned that most companies (and individuals) face the same challenges in communicating with the audiences most crucial to their survival and growth. I have learned that my advice and the original content I've delivered are truly valuable in many directions.I taught Business Writing at the University of British Columbia for 10 years, and I have taught courses in Marketing and Business Writing for designers and artists at Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Vancouver.Specialties: I have specialized in Proposal writing and production on behalf of design professionals.
