My name is Brian Ta, and I graduated from the University of North Texas in August of 2023 with a Master of Science in Learning Technologies with a focus on Workforce Leadership & Development. I also graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geosciences in 2019. While my undergraduate studies were geared towards the environmental field, I found my true passion within the Learning & Development sphere. I find great fulfillment in contributing towards someone else's success and the continuous growth of my organization. I will always strive towards creating a meaningful impact by promoting growth within everyone in my environment. I value honesty, integrity, accountability, respect, camaraderie, proactiveness, flexibility, critical thinking, patience, and open-mindedness. These values reflect in my actions as a leader, colleague, and employee.When it comes to Learning & Development, I implement modern adult learning theories, active learning, blended learning, learning technologies, regular communication with stakeholders. I aspire to continue developing robust training infrastructure, development opportunities, more well-rounded employees, and company cultures that promote a growth mindset. Some of my greatest accomplishments include hosting over 1400 training seats totaling over 3500 training hours, developing & administering 2 iterations of mentorship programs, developing & administering 3 iterations of front-line manager training programs, engaging in the development of 49 training curriculums, authored 23 eLearning courses, serving as the primary manager of the company's LMS, serving as the primary trainer for the company's transition into a new project management platform, and being one of the two primary authors for my current company's orientation.If you have any questions or would like any additional information, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
