After earning a promotion, I was tasked with leading a 100+ member staff of screeners, supervisors, and managers at the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) in order to protect the nation's transportation systems and ensure freedom of movement and commerce. As a Deputy Program Manager, I oversaw screening operations, personnel recruitment and performance, policy formulation, contract deliverables, security investigations, customer complaints, Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), crisis management, and administrative requirements in compliance with TSA regulations at SRQ. Furthermore, I acted as program manager in my supervisor's absence.
