•Supervise the daily operations of 100+ Class A, Class B, and Parcel Van Drivers. •Motivate, coach and inspire direct reports to achieve successful route completion to ensure complete customer satisfaction•Coordinate the daily maintenance and repair of 200+ fleet trucks and trailers to ensure DOT compliance and safe vehicle operation •Conduct regularly scheduled safety meetings with professional driver staff to confirm compliance in safety aspects of job functions to prevent accidents and injuries•Review and monitor daily routes to produce profitable results all while managing the daily costs associated including fuel, utilization, overtime etc.•Collaborate with multiple departments including warehouse operations, sales teams, corporate fleet managers, corporate safety and compliance managers, and multiple outside vendors to achieve desired results

• Supervise 18+ Class A Delivery Driver's with managing and coordinating all the logistics and operations to ensure delivery of our Nestle Pizza and Ice-Cream brands.• Challenge our front-line team to always work and drive safe and responsibly.• Reinforce the importance of DOT Regulations, and train drivers to adhere to all Nestle policies and procedures.• Conduct and lead a monthly district meeting with front-line team to discuss company initiatives, relevant safety topics, and any concerns or needs the team may have.• Work closely with the cross functional teams including Sales, Supply Chain, Routers, and the HR Department to ensure alignment on Nestle priorities and initiatives.

• Frequently run routes of 20-30 large grocery chain accounts with sales average of $4 million/year.• Help new employees optimize their time and efficiency in stores with Nestlé owned specific, "Time to Sell Training."• Assist new employees on training for their CDL License to operate commercial vehicles.• Train new hires with MAS sales software and Nestlé PeopleNet truck tracking software. • Prioritize safety and the importance of working safe within the DSD environment.• Evaluate risk predictions and ways to encourage fellow employees or store personnel better safe working practices.• Member of Safety Committee~ Safety concerns, watch outs, and safety practices to bring to our workplaces are discussed in-detail.• Strong understanding of the challenges and initiatives set forth within the DSD business.• Significant experience working in both small and large format sales routes.• Comprehensive route knowledge of Chicago and the surrounding suburbs in Northern Illinois.• Responsible for multitude of brands:~Pizza brands include:DiGiorno, Tombstone, Jack's, California Pizza Kitchen~ Ice-cream brands include:Häagen-Dazs, Edy's, Drumstick, Outshine, Skinny Cow
