As a former International Editor and Senior Correspondent at SBS TV, I have over 30 years of experience in delivering high-quality journalism that informs, engages, and challenges the audience. I have covered some of the most significant and complex global events and issues, such as the Iraq War, the Arab Spring, the conflicts in Timor Leste, Olympics, FIFA World Cups, and dozens of elections all over the world, as well as a few coups.My core competencies include reporting, writing, interviewing, broadcasting, editorial, operating under high pressure. I’m an accomplished storyteller and mentor and have a deep understanding of diverse cultures and perspectives. I have received multiple awards and recognitions for my work, including the prestigious Walkley Award for Excellence in Journalism in 2011, for my reporting on the uprisings in Timor Leste.
