In this position I purchase the raw materials needed to complete each project. That includes sinks, adhesives, solid surface sheets, quartz slabs, porcelain slabs, and natural stone slabs. I calculate the square footage of each job after measure and confirm it matches our quote. Once everything matches I set delivery dates that coincide with the install dates of the projects. I'm in constant communication with our distributors making sure the materials I order are in stock and available for shipping to meet project install dates. I confirm the prices we are charged match our agreed upon price lists. If we are invoiced an incorrect amount I work with the distributor to get the discrepancies credited.

After switching roles within the company I kept my largest clients and continue to service their accounts. This includes gathering necessary project information to get proposals created and answering questions/finding solutions regarding the best product for a given project and proper application. Once a new project is awarded I manage that project from start to finish, making sure the project is scheduled, drawn, fabricated and installed correctly.

My responsibilities include contacting new and current customers/accounts to schedule measure and installation dates. I manage both the installer's and measure tech's schedules making sure each route and time frame makes sense for both the customer and the company. Any new order that comes in it is my job to make sure it is entered correctly and passed to the correct department.

I was a sub-contractor employed through Opal Enterprises. I went to each house to meet with the home owner and get the measurements then from there I would price out the job and put together a detailed proposal for the customer. Once the proposal was written I would go back out to the home and present the project to the home owner.

I worked throughout school at McAlister's Deli rotating through every station in the back of the house.

At Allstate I gained sales experience by making sales calls over the phone. That included making cold calls off of a call list as well as making cross sales from home to auto insurance and vice versa. I also set meetings for my partner to go on and present life insurance options to the customer.
