Plan, supervise, and direct all philanthropic strategies and activities for an independent hospital in downtown Los Angeles. Supervise and direct Community Education, Volunteer, Pastoral Care and Child Care Departments. Direct a 6 member development team raising $8M - $10M dollars per year annually through major gift, foundation, corporate giving, and planned giving strategies. Over $74 million dollars raised since 2013. Work in coordination with a 12 member volunteer Fund Development Committee consisting of top philanthropic leaders and physicians to provide necessary resources for Good Samaritan Hospital.In 2019, we piloted a digital fund raising program which enabled us to connect with a demographic population accustomed to receiving their information through online activities. It allowed us to expand our reach and be more efficient in resource utilization and tripling our year end annual fund raising campaign. Most recently, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we expanded this pilot program on digital fund raising with a focus on expanding our donor base through informational e-mails and social media posts.

Providence Health and Services in Los Angeles which included tenure as Executive Director of Providence Holy Cross Foundation, and the Providence Saint Joseph Foundation. A strong cultural bond with board members, staff and community members was created cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gift donors engaged in capital projects at the medical center, including the ground breaking of the Howard and Hycy Hill Neuroscience Center and the opening of Disney Cancer Center. At Providence Holy Cross Foundation I directed a $2.6 million non-profit hospital foundation. Connecting with donors and prospects to advance the mission of the foundation and to secure resources for a major patient care facility expansion.At Providence St. Joseph Foundation, I led a 35 member volunteer Board of Governors in directing the overall operations of a $6.5 million non-profit hospital foundation. Closed out an $11 million dollar capital campaign for Neuroscience, completing the last $2.5 million dollars in 14 months. Additionally, we raised $316,000 from employees of St. Joseph Hospital, doubling the goal for the Employee Neuroscience Campaign. An additional highlight was solicited and securing six figure multi-year gifts from private foundations.

Provided leadership for a $2.8 million non-public school and agency for blind, visually impaired and deaf/blind children in Orange County, CA. Accomplished achieving fiscally sound operational targets and practices.Through our philanthropic efforts, we were able to meet or exceed our operating budget each year and establish a reserve of almost $1 million dollars to ensure organizational stability.
