EDAC Labs' electrosynthesizer technology, initially developed at Johns Hopkins University, splits salt into acid and base at half the cost of incumbent technologies. While acid and base have many uses, our first application focuses on extracting critical minerals from low-value ores in a carbon-negative way. For example, we turn $15 of serpentine rock into hundreds of dollars’ worth of nickel, silica, iron, and magnesium carbonate (we store CO2 from air in the magnesium carbonate). EDAC Labs will sell and service electrosynthesizers to support project developers and industrial users of Ph swing applications.
