Success is about relationships. Success in education means communicating with families, students, alumni and community to bring us together around improving students' experiences. Communicating with well informed, easy to understand visualizations puts the relationship first by making the message effective and efficient. Data Addict! I have built, improved, and rebuilt a data pipeline for displaying students' achievement in our school's innovative proficiency-based model that is tailored to each student and highlights their individual strengths and achievements. Students need data. Students are modeling data, analyzing data, and using tools like Excel and Tableau in my classes because "When am I going to use this?" needs a real and relevant answer.
