Head Equity And Fixed Income Trader
Current- Execute trade programs from portfolio managers electronically over the FIX network via Charles River. - 90% of the trading volume is in equities. The remaining 10% is in fixed income. These include US Treasuries, agency bonds, municipal and corporate bonds. The treasuries are traded through the Bloomberg Bond Trader application. - 25% of the equity trading is international. Currently have direct market exposure to Australia, Denmark, Hong Kong, London, Netherlands and Singapore. - Manage the commission allocation with the seven brokers we trade through. - Manage the soft dollar budget. Two brokers are used to pay for soft dollar items. Current budget is over $500K. - Develop new broker relationships in areas that require coverage.
