While at Expedia, I worked primarily on their Package shopping path, creating large scale web applications servicing countries all around the world. I assisted in migrating off of the old technology stack onto their new java + spring MVC stack as well as migrating some portions into micro services in AWS. I worked in a small group of engineers writing desktop and web applications that allow astronomers to submit proposals for time on the telescope and to plan and track their observations.
