Apply LEAN-Six Sigma methods to various tasks and areas. Track internal and external quality issues (downgrades) including in-depth analysis of inputs (process parameters, raw materials, operators, running conditions, etc.) and outputs (quality results such as viscosity, impact testing, etc.) to determine important information such as root causes of issues, whether or not specification changes are required, DOE's for process testing, spikes (anomalies) in issues such as waste production, etc. Coordinate Operational Excellence (OpEx) / Continuous Improvement (CI), and all related events such as open houses, road mapping events, X-matrix sessions, etc. Tracking of all continuous improvement projects at the site, the input of these projects in the global database, assisting project leaders with cost and savings calculation, leading monthly meetings with the site pillar leads to discuss progress of OpEx/CI projects, the publication and promotion of the OpEx/CI brand to the site, monthly meetings with the regional OpEx/CI implementation specialist, the coordination of pillar-to-pillar reviews, and all other aspects of OpEx/CI at the site. This includes training other employees in LEAN-six sigma, as well as traveling to other sites to help with OpEx/CI initiatives.Examples of projects and savings during this time frame include pallet recycling = $34K, on board key maintenance roles = $450K (maintenance), enhanced production training = $63K, optimize safety stock levels for raw materials = $298K, site wide 5S initiative, reduction of unnecessary QC testing = $95K, scrap reduction / scrap sales optimization = $177K.

I managed 8 to 20 people in a production environment. I attained my Lean-Sigma Green Belt during this time, and led several successful projects using the DMAIC methodology. Examples of projects and savings during this time frame include package scale accuracy = $279K, yield improvement = $160K, reduce purge cost = $70K, and mentored a project on drained raw material savings = $434K
