Ensures that Quality Deficiency Reports (QDR) are initiated and forwarded when equipment fails, deficiencies are discovered in newly received equipment or equipment improvements are proposed. Exercises supervisory responsibility for one or two subordinate workers engaged in technical inspection of the aircraft. Accomplishes performance ratings, authorizes and approves leave requests for assigned personnel. Interviews and recommends job applicants for vacant positions within area of responsibility and orients new employees.
