I designed a test plan for the log-in page of their Electron application and wrote the test suite as well. A technical challenge I'd like to highlight from this experience is that there currently are no end-to-end testing frameworks specifically designed for testing Electron applications. Some testing frameworks offer very limited ad-hoc tools for this purpose but these tools, at the time, were very limiting, and documentation for them was still very incomplete.
