I love to serve. I see the big picture and try to make it a reality. I best set vision and strategy. I then find strong executors who carry it out. At each job I have developed both people and programs to accomplish the vision. I love to encourage people to become what they are wired to do and be.I have two primary passions, helping families grow in their relationship to the Lord and helping people understand the Gospel. Spiritual Formation and Evangelism.This has worked out in my various roles in my life.At Huron Hills I developed ministry to kids and students and discovered a growing understanding of family ministries. Dick Hardel and Dorothy Bass taught me family rituals and practices of faith.At Ada, now a church of 10k, I was able to develop a strategy of child to adult spiritual formation. I created a volunteer structure for hundreds of volunteers. I worked on creating family resources having the opportunity to hang out with the North Point crowd and Reggie Joiner in the early days of Orange.At Ada I was able to participate and lead our missions reboot. It allowed international travel and deepened my love for for others in developing countries.Leading family ministry after 14 years turned into developing pastoral care for families-marriage mentoring, budget mentoring and crisis care. Cure International allowed me to combine my love for both spiritual formation/pastoral care and creating/ finding resources to expand Cure’s ministry platform for the Gospel.The SIM International Health Team will allow me to continue the type of work I was doing at Cure as well as develop and encourage leaders serving through the global healthy ministry of SIM who serve those who live in difficult places.I am a strategist, connector, builder with a passion for people care. A follower of Jesus.I’d love to leading and supporting a faith-missions oriented organization or church.
