I am an HPC Consultant doing User Support at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). I provide users with guidance on building, running, and debugging geophysical codes on our supercomputer and analysis clusters, including past and present machines like Yellowstone, Cheyenne, Casper, and Derecho. I am particularly passionate about providing users with the best possible compute environment we can offer, increasing productivity and enabling new avenues of research.My graduate work involved running the WRF model to analyze the interplay between wind farms and atmospheric conditions, particularly boundary layer stability. As such, I have experience both as a user and support staff and work toward bridging both perspectives in my duties.
