I present the principles and procedures of moving image preservation at Concordia University as well as the skills and awareness required in film preservation.

Film conservator for the collection of 13,000 films. This entailed surveying the entire collection for acetate decomposition, preserving and restoring selected titles, and inspecting uncatalogued films, assisting the Faculty of Fine Arts in the logistics of moving the site of operations, setting up a new digitization workflow for 16 mm and video, and assisting the Canadian Conservation Institute in their audit of the collection.
