As a contractor for IBM Personal Computing Division (PCD), I was responsible for creating solutions to diagnose personal computer issues and to help customers resolve them.While working at PCD, I developed over 28 small and medium sized projects using C++ / VC and Visual Basic. These projects incorporated MFC and ActiveX technologies. Software also included many proprietary utilities and drivers written for IBM specific hardware. The support applications were integrated and delivered to customers via proprietary client side ActiveX controls and Java / J2EE / Web Sphere server side technologies developed internally by our team. These diagnostic software solutions were capable of submitting feedback using XML based database transactions and SMTP.

As a student, I worked as a contractor for Independent Systems Service Inc programming and documenting industrial control system software. Control systems were a mixture of Visual Basic UIs, MS Access databases and ActiveX and TCP/IP networking components.These projects focused on integration with third party control systems, data logging and user interface design.
