About Brian Bowling
I have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Computer Science at San Diego State University. I currently work at Orbit Fab as a Propulsion Engineer responsible for hardware designed to transfer propellant on orbit. As an undergraduate I spent my entire career heavily involved with SDSU Rocket Project. Throughout my four years I advanced quickly to become the Recovery section lead after my first semester, then to Systems Manager after my second semester, and CTO for my senior year. Because of my club experience and the leadership positions I held, I have acquired a great deal of knowledge in amateur rocketry, system engineering, component engineering, and been able to further refine the three years of CAD experience I had before college. In my free time I continue designing bi-propellant liquid rockets. I am using a YouTube channel to document my progress as well as demonstrate my design strategies to hopefully help others interested in rocketry.
