I am the Chief Meteorologist for Heart of Illinois ABC in Peoria, IL. I have been a broadcast meteorologist since the summer of 2012 after graduating with my B.S. degree in Meteorology from Penn State. In February of 2018, I was given the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist designation (CBM #818) from the American Meteorological Society.

I have been the Chief Meteorologist at Heart of Illinois since the summer of 2017 and helped play a role in the station's rebranding and relaunch in the fall of that year. I present the forecast during three newscasts each evening, and have covered all types of weather from tornadoes to blizzards, and pretty much everything in between.

I worked a few different shifts during my time in Johnson City, but I was the Weekend Meteorologist for about two-thirds of my time there. When the station acquired the ABC affiliation in the market, I was moved to a Monday-Friday role to present the forecast during two newly added evening newscasts on the ABC stream.

I started as the Weekend Meteorologist but was quickly promoted to Morning Meteorologist in the fall of 2012. In that new position, I gave the forecast for our 2 hour morning newscast and half hour noon newscast for the remainder of my 2 years in Bluefield.
