Who am I and what can I do for you …?I consider myself a creative thinker and have been solving hugely complex problems for over 35 years. I can help you realize what’s possible with my extensive and broad problem-solving experience, work ethic and my team behind me. I can often find paths through what are seemingly impenetrable challenges. My organisations reputation and portfolio will evidence this beyond doubt.I am a Structural and Civil Engineer who champions creativity and diversity in my organization and all around me, both culturally and technically. Throughout my career I have learned every aspect of my profession. I am continually seeking new horizons, already gathering many Structural Engineering specialisms, and having my eyes set on much more. I have made it my business to know the business of my client’s professions so I can speak their language. I also see my fellow professionals with whom I collaborate in my project teams as clients. I provide them with a service too to help them realise what’s possible; if they succeed, I succeed. I have played key driving roles in building the Will Rudd brand as a founding member of Will Rudd Associates in 1983 and the Founding Director of Will Rudd Davidson (Glasgow) in 2000. The Will Rudd brand reflects all that I have done and taken part in over the past 35 years. It is trustworthy, strong, well respected, and distinctive. What you see in me is what you will find within my organisation and the way we work.Above all I am a practicing Engineer and you will always find me at the delivery end of our service and product. I would love to talk to you if you thought you can put me and my team to good use.Recreationally, I am a musician (Grade 8 piano), performed composer, and 1st Dan judo. I love all things creative. I love skiing and the outdoors. I am an 'improving' French speaker; France one of my favourite places and I spend as much time over there as I can.
