Responsible for developing and managing the overall activation and value creation strategy for our 65 property, 10.5M square foot, West Coast suburban retail portfolio. By leveraging the skills of my internal teams as well as engaging with the right third party consultants, I’ve successfully converted underutilized single-tenant retail stores into best in class multi-tenant shopping, dining, entertainment and mixed-use destinations. • Managed the entire redevelopment life cycle of 16 properties totaling 2.5M square feet. These projects were a combination of adaptive re-use of existing free standing and mall anchor boxes, new ground up construction as well as site densification with mixed-use outparcels and ground leased pads.• Generated significant re-leasing spreads on existing space by sourcing, negotiating and executing 750,000 square feet of new leases with best in class tenants.• Oversee a team of development managers to ensure their project entitlements, third party REA approvals, design, schedules and budgetary requirements are being met.• Work with development partners and design teams to evaluate the feasibility of integrating multi-family, hotel, office and other alternative uses at selected mall properties and free-standing retail sites.

Played a key role in evaluating the Sears real estate portfolio and identifying sites with near term redevelopment potential in anticipation of the formation, launch, and ultimate $2.7 billion rights offering of Seritage Growth Properties in 2015. • As the first employee of the newly formed wholly owned Sears real estate subsidiary, Seritage Realty Trust, I was fully engaged with building up the internal leasing, development and construction teams as well setting out the internal processes and procedures associated with leasing and project development. • Worked closely with Sears corporate to come up with a downsized store prototype. Successfully reconfigured 5 store locations and back filled the vacated space with new third-party tenants.
