Directly responsible for the success and coordination of all processes involved with the daily productions of the slurry seal or microsurfacing crew including: managing a ten member crew, communicating with suppliers such as emulsion transportation companies and manufacturers, aggregate transportation companies and manufacturers, and aluminum sulfate transportation companies and manufacturers. Making up schedules and street lists to the satisfaction of buyers while maintaining production requirements mandated for profit. Oversee maintenance of all equipment necessary to support the success of the slurry seal crew. Assuring the quality of material and handwork is not only to the satisfaction of the buyers but meets or exceeds industry standards. Oversee all traffic control is within industry standards. Assure costs are kept to a minimum without risking the safety of the public or crew. Address any concerns the public may have on a 24/7 basis including answering numerous daily phone calls from the public.
