Practice centered on the negotiation of agreements for financial institutions and healthcare clients. These agreements included: Software Licensing Agreements; Outsourcing and ASP Hosting Agreements; Sponsorship, Advertising, and Marketing Agreements; and Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreements. Also assisted clients with data security, privacy, identity theft, and related issues. Also represented employers with the design, implementation, administration and correction of tax-qualified retirement plans, non-qualified deferred compensation plans, executive compensation arrangements and health and other welfare benefit plans. This representation included Section 409A compliance, Health Care Reform consulting and compliance, fiduciary and prohibited transaction compliance, COBRA and HIPAA compliance, EPCRS corrections and filings, and drafting and review of agreements relating to employee benefit plans.

Advised and assisted with the preparation of Departmental witnesses before Congress, including Assistant Attorneys General, US Attorneys, and the Attorney General.
