Mr. Watson is a member of the Firm’s Corporate, Finance and Real Estate Practice Groups.Mr. Watson’s public finance practice includes the representation of issuers, financial institutions, underwriters and investors in connection with the public and private offering of municipal securities.Mr. Watson has counseled lenders and investors in connection with the sale and workouts of defaulted bonds. He has represented numerous counterparties in connection with interest rate swap transactions, and the unwinding of such transactions. Mr. Watson also has completed disclosure due diligence and prepared securities disclosure documents for several industrial development and utility authorities in the Southeast United States.Mr. Watson’s corporate practice includes formation of corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships, as well as assisting clients with general day to day operating matters, including the preparation, review and negotiation of contracts.Mr. Watson counsels corporate clients on securities matters relating to the private offerings of debt and equity securities.A significant portion of Mr. Watson’s corporate practice includes mergers and acquisitions, including buy-side and sell-side representation for stock sales and asset sales.Mr. Watson also counsels not for profit organizations as part of his corporate practice, including matters relating to the formation of such not for profit organizations, as well as financing capital projects of those not for profit organizations.In 2013, he was recognized as one of Central Florida's brightest and most promising young business people by being named in the Orlando Business Journal's "Forty Under 40" list.
