Directing and coordinating the activities of the AsureQuality laboratories group to achieve its’ short and long term financial and growth objectives and driving the organisation to be the best that it can be. AsureQuality is New Zealand’ s leading Food testing laboratory with laboratories in Auckland, Wellington Christchurch and Melbourne with more than 600 scientific professionals with a turnover of more than $80m.The role leads the NZ commercial operations, Innovation, technical and quality and provides leadership to ensure that the business delivers exemplary performance and service at all times. The role has grown since 2016 to include oversight of the joint venture operation in South East Asia and Australia. This oversight includes alignment of operational systems and test methods and strategic projects for the Australasian region.As part of the executive team I also am part of the leadership of AsureQuality which employs more than 2000 employees and provides Food Assurance services across NZ. AsureQuality is governed by an Independent Board.
