Main Job Description: Responsible for many diverse applications, operations and support in an ever evolving, improving and, highly technical workplace. Main areas of responsibility involved in full Custom shop manufacturing, production, assembly and integration of cutsom laser marking and pinstamp marking systems with part handling safety enclosures and controls. Programming operation and testing of marking systems. Some basic PLC programming, robotics programming, linear and rotary axis programming and control/electrical panel-component assembly, service and support. Trouble shooting of custom systems during manufacturing, setup and customer run off of systems.Full setup, validation, run-off and training. System Safety trainingOperator and programmer training/supportSystem Installation and troubleshooting - Operational assistanceTechnical support and some limited CAD design for system componentsDesign and System review, modifications and recommendationsProduction and Engineering supportPC and Software support and setup for laser systems and controls and drivers.Primary Specialty area: Nd:YAG Diode Pumped and Fiber Sourced laser marking systems. Secondary knowledge of CO2, Green and Lamp Pump ND:YAGPrimarily for industrial laser marking, cutting and micro welding applications.Also knowldege of linear and robotic part handling systems within the marking/production cell.

Main areas of responsibility (listed from most important first): Structural and conceptual design of industrial marking systems, including technical production drawings for fabrication and promotional/sales drawings. Design programming and operation of systemsSetup, and vallidation of laser systems and training (off and on site customer facilities) Safety training Operator and programmer training/support Operational assistance including technical support CAD designSoftware design support and support for laser front end applications.Project management involving the customer, suppliers and purchasing agents through every step of a project from concept to order placement to delivery to after delivery services, including setup of budgets (with customer and internal to production).Artwork and design for customer systems (Illustrator concept to AutoCAD production drawings). Marketing graphics for Ostling Technologies and the Ostling Group.Technical support for marking systems and basic electrical design/troubleshooting of system components.Customer pre-sale Sample technician. Software and Programming (Visual Basic) services and support.Secondary responsibility for trouble shooting, upgrading and maintenance of laser and needle marking systems.Also involved in Trade Show booth design and setup. Including show site tech support.Specialty area: Nd:YAG diode pumped laser marking systems

Main Job Description: Responsible for design and layout of graphics for custom directional/corporate identification sign manufacturing. Responsibilities include creation/adaptation of customer logos and sign requirements, and insertion of logos and copy into total media sign packages, as well as generating customer approval artwork and technical construction detail drawings. Also responsible for project organization,overseeing and manufacturing responsibilities for vinyl graphics production department.Secondary responsibility for trouble shooting, upgrading and maintenance of graphics and production computer systems. Production specialist on ESAB and Gerber Sabre CNC routers and Gerber/Roland large frame vinyl graphic production equipment.
