Developed the Salina Regional Production System (SRPS) Framework for Excellence.I also lead and direct all quality management activities for the hospital including patient care, patient relations (as Patient Advocate), HFAP/Joint Commission compliance and performance improvement. Develop strategic plans and policies for improved quality throughout the hospital and work with Administration to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies such as CMS. Provide integrated QI/Lean support throughout the healthcare system (4 hospitals and 10 clinics). Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. This was a General Manager position where I was responsible for soup to nuts factory operation. Responsible for a $25M annual budget and the safety and welfare of 600 employees. The 480,000 sq ft factory was primarily responsible for manufacturing aircraft wings and other detailed assemblies. The factory also had a large plastics division (injection molded plastic and thermoset), extensive cables and hoses division, a paint shop, and electric harness assembly. Union environment. Plant was closed and outsourced and I jumped to a local company, Philips, to avoid yet another relo.

Program Manager for the MQM-107 "Streaker" Unmanned Aerial Vehicle. Worked extensively with DoD in the timely delivery of this $24M contract. Finally, I provided internal consultant services as a Program Manager in the Program Management Systems Division.
