Staff Data Platform Engineer
Individual contributor for expanding and modernizing Teradata’s enterprise analytics capabilities to enable a fully data-driven corporate culture. Our solution is fully cloud-enabled (Kubernetes-based) analytics application ecosystem to run across a hybrid cloud environment. The analytics application environment is based on metadata-defined application frameworks for data acquisition and integration. Through tools created to generate application metadata, we are able to automate data acquisition and integration from queryable sources, including 3rd party SaaS solutions (Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, Seismic, Aprimo, Sprinklr, Aha, and Qualtrics) by building Kafka connectors. The application frameworks are written with consideration for configurable (including dynamic) processing frequency, from near real-time to incremental batch, so processing/operating costs can be optimized by use case. I partner with with Data Engineering Technical Management to manage inputs into our agile development. Provide developers with training and development support to accelerate development and deployment into production environment, including management of the sprints starting in 2021.
