About Brian Westgate
I'm not satisfied, and maybe never will be. I want to be part of a team that solves wicked problems. I want to have confidence that when I'm old, I've done everything I can to make the world a better place. In the current environment, I'm even thinking I may be able to do more for National Security outside the Air Force than in, so I'm considering retiring from the military in December 2025. I have no solid ideas what I'm going to do from there, so that means if you want me to get whatever degree or certification you require so that I can join and take your business to the next level, sell it to me now. Otherwise, I'm going to do my own thing, and your company may well end up being my competition! And I won't be satisfied.

CurrentWay over-my-head in helping Air Force Global Strike Command managing various enterprise-level cyber-capability programs at the MAJCOM level. However, my passion remains helping the people behind the programs and policies, and not the programs and policies themselves.

Rapid shifts upon applying & getting a novel 9I000 position within AFGSC/DSK, shuffled out-of-hide between DSK, A9, and ST for a few months while attending AFWERX and Project Mercury fellowships. The position was inappropriately aligned and dissolved, ultimately landing me in AFGSC/A6 as my old OSS position was already refilled.
