Developed a class of self-assembled protein nanostructures using a combination of protein engineering and synthetic organic chemistry, including extensive genetic engineering of E. coli.Developed assays utilizing liquid chromatography (SEC- and RP-HPLC-SLS/DLS), fluorescence (bulk and single-molecule), mass spectrometry, and NMR to characterize small molecules and protein oligomers.Performed computational modeling and statistical analysis of free energy calculations on small molecules as well as macromolecular systems.Practiced in a full range of synthetic organic and biological techniques including ELISA, PCR, DNA/RNA extraction, gel electrophoresis, cell culture, western blotting, protein expression/purification, and related.
